Winter Solstice Candlelit Dinner – Saturday 21 June 2025

A winter solstice to remember at Westella Vineyard.

Experience a sumptuous winter feast curated by Hubert and Dan, from Tasmania’s rich and wintry produce. All perfectly paired with Westella Sparklings and Pinot Noirs, served alongside two special selections from our personal cellar. It will be an evening of gastronomic pleasure in the glow of candlelight, fires roaring, to celebrate the longest night of the year.

Canapes

Westella vine cane smoked and cured duck breast, native pepper-berry, rock melon + lemon crème fraiche  +  

Wild Clover lamb arancini + cashew cream & crimson fruit & pinot jam.

Warm Bread

Focaccia + rosemary + whipped Ashgrove butter.

Tasmanian scallops, dashi custard, nameko pickled mushrooms, radishes, winter greens + furikake.

Main

Cape Grim braised beef short rib, cheesy polenta, salsa verde + Westella pinot jus +

Side of baby carrots with brown butter & toasted hazelnuts to share.  

Dessert

Dark chocolate pear & apple tart , burnt meringue, miso caramel + cream.
