Do you flex your cooking skills when hiking? Then you’re invited to a competition with a twist. Join us at Westella with your favourite Tassie ingredients and sauté them into a hiker’s gastronomic feast using the essential bushwalking tool – the Trangia! The dish best matched to Westella Pinot Noir will become the 2025 Westella Trangia Champion. AJ from Campers Pantry, a master with a Trangia, will head up our judging panel.

The dish best matched to Westella Pinot Noir wins a 6-pack of Westella Pinot Noir and a Campers Pantry pack. What are you waiting for, you know you’ve got this in the bag!

Entry price is valid for an individual OR team entry. Entry price includes a bottle of Westella Pinot Noir. The person completing entry must be over 18 and present on the day to claim the Pinot Noir. You also need to know that all camping props are welcome, especially if it elevates your experience and cooking!

• Judge’s decision is final.
• Entry price is for a single competitor OR team. Entry price includes a bottle of Westella Pinot Noir.
• BYO Trangia (Trangia can be provided, contact Westella – 72 hours notice required).
• Cooking to be undertaken in the vineyard, regardless of weather. Bring your raincoat (though we’ll take pity in the event of torrential downpours and relocate inside :-)).
• Cook-off commences at 12:50 pm.
• Meals must be cooked within 45 minutes.
• No pre-cooked meals, some assembly is required.
• BYO ingredients.
• All camping props welcome, especially if it helps elevate your experience and cooking!
• Prize is a 6 bottle pack of Westella wines per single registered competitor/team.
• Minimum 48 hours required for cancellation.
